About WPH
Wibbert Performance Horses was founded by Shannon Wibbert in the summer of 2017. Shannon began her riding career at a young age developing a love for horses from her mother. In elementary school, she began showing American Saddlebred's under the direction of Knollwood Farm in Heartland, WI. As she made her way into highschool, she branched off and began riding and showing hunter jumpers and eventually training and showing reining horses while in college.
Shannon graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls in the spring of 2017 where she received a bachelor's degree in Animal Science with an Equine Management Emphasis and participated in the UWRF Colts in Training program setting her up for a successful career starting young horses under saddle.
While in college she also worked under the direction of multi APHA, PtHA, ApHC, and NSBA world and reserve world champion, and 2016 PtHA Professional Horsewoman of the Year and Hall of Fame Inductee, Tina Langness, a position that prepared her to pursue a career training, showing, and coaching all around stock horses as well as reining and ranch riding horses.
WPH currently operates out of Ridgeview Ranch in Iron Ridge, WI. Despite the program being young, the team has already accomplished some great things including one student leading the nation in an AQHA event in 2018 as well as various high point awards in 2018 and 2019 with the Wisconsin Quarter Horse Association.
2020 is looking bright and WPH is looking to expand to various other associations for the up coming show season including The Wisconsin Pinto Horse Association, Wisconsin Paint Horse Club, Wisconsin Buckskin Horse Assocation, as well as attending various state, regional, and national level AQHA and open local shows with some of our younger riders.
